The exhibition has been a great success at Tallaght, and Development Officer Mike Moloney attended a further opening on 16 February 2000 accompanied by our Curator of the exhibition Amanda Dunsmore and also Artist in 'Residence' HMP Maze Brian Maguire.

Mike and Amanda then appeared on Dublin's T.V 3 to answer some questions on the exhibition and also present some of the paintings on the show.

The following is a sort statement from Lorraine Hughes of Tallaght Community Arts Centre:

'The launch of 'Captivating' was a great success and Shane Cullen was a perfect choice to open it. The exhibition has attracted a lot of interest in the area and I think a lot of people are fascinated by it because it is work done by prisoners and ex-prisoners and because of the novel way in which its anonymous nature is dealt with.'
