In response to our aims/objectives,
Prison Arts Foundation programmes take four main
forms:
1) On-going residencies – one day per week
over a year with an emphasis on a creative process
whilst targeting and working towards a tangible
result.
2) Short residencies – these are designed
and applied specifically to produce results through
a creative arts process.
3) Community Artists – this artistic residency
works the same as any Community Artist programme
whereby all interfaces within the “closed
community” of prison and the outside community
are considered.
4) Visiting Artists – this form allows
the on-going education programmes to be enriched
and enhanced through contact with professional
artists in all art forms visiting the prison.
